Hi there, I’m Glenn the Assisstant District Commissioner for Beaver Scouts.

I see Beavers as the “Beginning of the Adventure” in Scouting and aim to inject as much fun and adventure as possible into the programme. A dedicated blend of energy, enthusiasm and a just a hint of madness is how best to describe the dedicated Beaver Scout Leadership Teams of the four Colonies here in the Western Isles.

There is always plenty of activities planned for our youngest members and an even busier year in 2011 as we celebrate 25 years of Beaver Scouting in the UK. There is also the opportunity to practice new skills and mix with the older sctions so our Beavers have a true sense of the “Family of Scouting”.
